Story time with Dad.

Reading the paper at Pelham Delite.

The fall

In November we moved into a new apartment. For a while we lived across the yard from Nana. She could look out of her bedroom window and wave at us in the kitchen.

A birthday song for Dad.

Discovering electrical outlets.

The first bath in the new apartment.

You had a lot of fun with a pot of blocks.

You really enjoyed getting to try green beans.

A day in the life

Once a week we would go to the grocery store.

But every day we go to the park. Sometimes we would meet friends there.

Sometimes we would just sit outside on the steps and wait for packages.

Whenever Dad was about to run out of clean underwear we would go and do laundry.

Usually you would spend time practicing sitting.

You and Dad spent lots of time playing together.

Sometimes we would go to fancy art openings.

You grabbing for my necklace at Nana's opening.

All the excitement eventually wore you out.

Hurricane

When you were very little, there was a terrible storm.

The storm knocked down many trees in the park.

Here I am pointing out a large tree that had gotten knocked down.

And here I am enjoying the wind blowing through my hair.

Here we are just being glad to be out of the apartment. You were probably saying something to make me laugh.

When you and Dad found a giant puddle/new lake, of course you has to walk through it.

Sometime puddle stomping makes you tired.

Monkey

Waking up after a nap at the Highline Park.

Meeting Dad for lunch.

There was a time when you thought the word "monkey" was incredibly funny.

You became an expert at grabbing your toes.

We read lots of books together. And sometime you read books by yourself.
I found new ways to try to get some more sleep.

One day you discovered a new place to sit.
