From the moment I woke up I knew it was going to be an interesting day. It was the quiet that woke me up. It was to quiet. I found you in the bathroom, brushing your teeth with toilet water.
I made us pancakes for breakfast and then we took a walk.
At the park today I let you crawl around the wall ball court, jokingly referring to it as a giant play pen. What play pens don't have is mud puddles. You apparently slid on your butt through a puddle and you were very wet. So I took your pants off of you and wrapped you in my sweater and and brought you home to get dry pants. You fell asleep in my arms.
We played hide and seek with Noah today. Every time we found Noah or Noah found us you would get startled. Also, you talked a lot during our turn to hide. You still have a lot to learn about hiding.
Today we read: Tico the wingless bird, Tacky goes to camp, stories from Pooh's bedtime book, the Bible, and part of Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard-but it was before nap time and I was doing lots of Russian accents and you didn't want to nap anymore. Maybe we won't read Chekhov before naps anymore.
